IRONING ADVICES


Even if it probably would be one of the best inventions of the century, the increased fabric does not exist. As there is not solution, we provide you some useful advices at time of ironing your CAMILLE´s chemises.

1) If you iron chemises when it is still a bit wet, you will get better results. You can get wet with a spray in case of being dry.

2) Always start in sleeves. Smooth out and iron from the centre, from centre to outsider. Do not iron the borders until the end.

3) If simple cuff, iron in way bottoms leave in superior part. If double cuff, fold completely and iron. After holding in wished way and ironing.

4) Put back part of chemise with interior part on table. Smooth out the chemise and iron, paying attention in pleat of back part. Turn back once.

5) Iron from borders to inside of the collar to avoid crease. Then, turn collar and iron interior part.

6) Put a front of the chemise on the table with external part back and smooth out. IF bottom part, iron carefully around them. After, iron the other front of the chemise.



FABRICS


Also we have to consider the kind of fabric to iron, to check temperature, steam and other characteristics. We provide you some indications in function of chemise´s fabric.

1) SILK.
Iron with warm iron quickly. Iron chemises inside out to avoid shines.

2) WOOD, CASHMERE, ALPACA, MOHAIR, CAMEL AND SIMILAR FABRICS.
Iron with warm iron quickly.

3) COTTON, LINEN AND SIMILAR FABRICS.
Warm iron and we have to use some steam to get wet the garment.

4) RAYON.
Iron with warm iron quickly.

5) POLYESTER.
Iron with warm iron quick.

6) NYLON AND OTHER ACRYLIC FIBERS.
Iron with warm iron.
